January services

February - March Services

"As I’m sure you will have heard, face coverings have again become mandatory in churches (alongside many other places). I appreciate that there may be a range of views on this latest government decision but unless you have an exemption please could I ask you to return to wearing a face covering if you have stopped. Face coverings may be removed for refreshments, for leading services, for reading the lesson or prayers. Choirs/singing groups are also permitted to remove their covering if they wish to. I hope that this change won’t effect your experience of our Christmas events and services too much over the coming weeks " With thanks Lewis

Re-entering our buildings notes in accordance with the Government’s and Church of England’s guidance

"Regarding the grass on the verge by the road outside the boundary of the church. Over the years it has unfortunately been called the church lawn. It is not. We saw someone from Dorset District Council (DDC) the other day and we could show him our maps that clearly show it is not church property. It is owned and managed by DDC. I have been told to leave it alone as it is nothing to do with the church. I think DDC are adopting a policy of leaving verges etc for the wild life. If people want to complain about it they need to contact DDC.
